            Apologies for those of you unable to receive Angel Radio Isle of Wight on-line. We hope to be able to restore it today 25th July.

This is a problem with the streaming company we use. It appears that lots of

             other radio stations, that use ViaStreaming to get their shows online to their listeners, are also off-air. 
Our friends at Angel Radio in Havant have spent quite a long time trying to get to

                 the bottom of the problem, but they say their best guess is that the

ViaStreaming company has gone out of business. 

This mention of them is on Wikipaedia "The viastreaming.com website has been

indicating certain streaming servers have been down for some weeks,

but is not responding to related support requests"

The best way to listen to Angel Radio is currently on 91.5 FM,

which is unaffected by the streaming problem

DEREK HAS HAD TO CHANGE HIS DAY WITH US DUE TO HIS WIFE'S HEALTH PROBLEMS SO TUNE IN TO DEREK ON MONDAY BETWEEN NOON AND 2.00PM WITH HIS WONDERFUL SHOW. HE ALSO APPEARS AT 10.30am WITH A GILBERT AND SULLIVAN SPECIAL

EVEN THOUGH SOME OF OUR PRESENTERS ARE SADLY NO LONGER WITH US THEIR PRE RECORDED SHOWS MADE BEFORE THEY PASSED AWAY CAN STILL BE HEARD. 

WE PRESENT THE LATE TONY HILL'S 'A STAR REMEMBERED' SHOW AT 11am ON MONDAYS - A VERY FITTING TRIBUTE TO HIM.

 

WE HAVE BEEN APPROACHED BY FOUR POTENTIAL NEW PRESENTERS ALL RARING TO GO WITH TRAINING AND NOW BEV IS ALMOST UP AND RUNNING AGAIN SINCE HER HIP REPLACEMENT(LITERALLY!) WE WILL BEGIN THEIR TRAINING SOON.
